Healthy & Happy

Well everyone I made it through! Not  sure what really got me sick but it was bound to happen to one of us sooner or later. Glad to say though I am feeling much better and back to work at the school. I am also very happy to be able to post some videos for you today. With all of our hard drive and computer problems we got very behind on editing. So today I have some of our fun adventures in Indonesia and also our journey to Thailand which you may have already read about on our previous post. Thank you all of your prayers for my health and recovery. Hope y'all enjoy these videos!              Brandon Bali Indonesia, Part 1  Click here >   watch Bali Indonesia, Part 2 Click here >   watch Journey to Thailand Click here >   watch

Brandon's Travel Bug

I wanted to update everyone on Brandons sickness. The covid test came back negative which led us to believe that he probably ate something bad or contaminated. His fever broke after the first day and he has just been resting in bed for the last couple of days. He has continued to have stomach pain/cramps so we decided to go ahead and start him on some medicine that was recommended to us by our friend here who is a PA. If he does not get better in the next couple of days we will probably have to go to the doctor so please continue praying for God to heal his body!                 Mallory

Thailand Update

Wow! What a couple of weeks this has been. The Lord has continued to provide for us in so many ways. We arrived in Thailand on the visa exemption with no problems. Seriously, they checked all of our documents and we were on our way within 10 minutes.       After we made it through customs we were greeted by one of the principals of the school. She was able to take us to look at housing...although, after 38 hours in the Singapore airport we just wanted to sleep...but to our surprise we found some Starbucks in the airport which gave us that extra energy we needed!       We looked at several places, but they were all to small for what we needed. Hopefully, as we meet more people we will be able to host dinners to get to know people in hopes that we can start a bible study! For this reason we needed something bigger so we kept looking and praying that God would provide exactly what we need.       Long story short we went to look at some houses that this British man rents out ( he ma

We have finally arrived in Thailand! So thankful for all the prayers along the way. We had a great Sunday service with our new community and we are excited to start training for classes next Monday. Please pray for us as we try to find a house to rent an get settled in! - Brandon

A Day in the Life of Viktor Navorski

As Mallory and I woke with excitement that hot sweaty Indonesian morning of May 5th, we were finally heading to the airport to leave for Thailand. As we make our way to the airport in our Grab ride (which is the Asian Uber), we reflect on the time we have had in Indonesia. After we arrive we prayed as we made our way to check in that we would have all we need and that the Lord would go before us and clear a path. Everything went very smooth through security and boarding. Excited and ready to start the next step in this journey, we seamlessly glided through the clouds and back to the ground in Singapore.         I had planned the next two days of travel and packed them to the brim with fun activities. We weren't just going to the Singapore airport, we were going to see one of the worlds largest indoor waterfalls and great spectacle of modern architecture. So I purposefully planned this flight to have a 16 hour layover in the Singapore air port where the famous JEWEL liv

Farewell Indonesia

The Lord put many people into our path and we were able to have several great conversations in Indonesia. First we had Putu and his family who were Balinese Hindu, then we met a couple from Scotland who were atheist. A couple days later we met a couple from Ireland and lastly two older gentleman from Holland who grew up "non- religious" and Catholic. We were able to ask them good questions and steer the conversations to the gospel! We had really good discussions and it really made us excited to keep building relationships with people especially since we will be in Thailand for a long period of time! Hopefully we will be able to meet back up with Peter Paul and Marco (Holland) as they will be in Chiang Mai in September!       Our last gospel conversation was with our Grab driver. What started as casual conversation with our driver slowly turned into a much deeper apologetic one. He asked were we were going and we explained that we were volunteering to teach English at a C

Off We Go!!!

We are ready and packed for Thailand! Our flight leaves for Singapore at 1pm (12am your time). We will then spend 16 hours in the airport...this was apparently done of purpose unannounced to me... The airport is supposedly pretty cool so Brandon wanted to stay and check it out. I will let you know if it was worth it LOL. We will board our flight to Thailand at 8am (7pm your time) and get there at 10:15am.  We are still unsure about our entry process, but we know God is with us and will make a way for us. We hope that we will be able to enter as planned and get settled and started in ministry there, but we know God has ministry for us everywhere as we have learned in our first 3 weeks here in Indonesia! He has a plan and will guide our steps! Please be in prayer for us as we depart and attempt to enter into the Land of Smiles! We love you guys so much and are so thankful for each and every one of you!  In Him,       Mallory
