Hello everyone! I hope you all are enjoying the nice fall weather! We are definetly a bit jealous, but we have had a wonderful time here in Vietnam. We started our trip in Ho Chi Minh City and it was there that we met with our new friend! We immediately felt a great connection and were able to discuss and learn many things about him and the work he is doing in this new place. The next day, the day of rest, we had a great day meeting lots of other new friends and later sharing a bowl of pho together. We also got to try all of their Vietnamese snacks! Later that evening we were invited to go to a lady's shop where they have a  group of kids come and sing songs and learn. We had a great time sharing with them, and they seem hungry for more. A good friend and mentor of mine used a word that, in my opinion is much more suitable CONFUSED. I think conf

We have arrived in Vietnam! We have been busy meeting with our contact here and will update you when things settle down for us in a few days. We are currently in Ho Chi Minh City and will be here until Friday night. Then we will get on a sleeper bus that will take us to Nha Trang which is about 9 hours away! We each will have our own beds as we ride to our next destination! We are excited as this will be the first of many of this type of transportation for us here in Vietnam. We will write another post when we get settled in to Nha Trang!          Love, Mal
