Urgent Prayer Request!

Hello everyone,     As soon as we got here to Thailand we knew we were going to have problems getting our visa. I'm sure you all remember our visa troubles from Indonesia...We have had the worst time trying to obtain a visa for a longer stay in Thailand and our last chance for the one we really need is tomorrow! I have an appointment with the US Embassy at 8am and seriously I am mentally weary from trying to figure all of this out with language barriers and misinformation. Please pray for us as we go and try to obtain what we THINK will be our last document. We will then have to apply for our visa a couple hours later at Thai Immigration were we will hope and pray that we will make it through all the check marks. We were turned away today which was discouraging. I will keep you updated.  In Christ,           Mallory

School of Promise Update

Image
Hello everyone!  We have a few pictures of our first month here in Thailand. First we have our church called Promise Church. It is still a relatively new church so we are praying God will continue to bring more people to worship with us there. The School of Promise wanted to have a worship service available to its students and the surrounding community, so they added on this building to the school grounds. It also functions as the music room and cafeteria during the week.                     The worlds largest rice cooker (there are about 3 of these)! There are about 150 kids that attend the school. As you can imagine they make quite a lot of rice! They provide us with lunch everyday... sometimes we try new things and other times we go home and eat PB&J. We are trying lots of new foods! Thankfully we were given a motorcycle to borrow while we are here so we do not have to rent one! Such a blessing! Brandon loves this new mode of transportation which will probably cause me problems

We absolutely love receiving emails and comments on our blog posts, but we would love to know who you are! I think it populates anonymous if you do not have a google account or are not logged in, but this is easily fixed if you click the drop down button next to the word anonymous. This will give you the option to click Name/URL. Once selected you will be able to enter in your name. You do not need to put a URL. You will then click continue, type your comment, and then click publish! Talk to you soon!  Thanks!            Mallory
